Lucy and Cooper

So, yesterday, I'm minding my own business, sunning in the window and soaking in the 70 degree weather when the rest of my animal family visit. Now, I've never lived with the rest of the Lawton animals and I'm happy for that (although I wouldn't mind feasting my eyes on that Conure, Conner) and now I know why.

She came in and Lucy and Cooper followed and they didn't say a word to me -- nothing, nada. Not a sniff, bark or anything. So, I thought that was fine me being a cat (and much more mature -- after all, I don't live at home) and them being dogs. But then, just as they were about to leave (and after they had become way too comfortable for my liking), Lucy gets her hackles up and starts barking so I have to hiss and puff up and give them what for ... and Cooper just didn't get it (he has two cat friends from his prior house so he "gets" cats)

Needless to say, my morning reverie was ruined.
